A word from the owner - Jaco van der Spuy
Autoto opened shop in Cape Town and we do any kind of work you need from large scale renovation to even the smallest of jobs! We specialize in quality workmanship from qualified electricians at affordable prices. I am a professional technologist, fully licensed and insured. I am a qualified Instrumentation Technician and Electrician with a wireman’s license and an advanced diploma in electrical engineering. I started my career when I started my apprenticeship as electrician in Mossel bay running hundreds of domestic installations in new developments after which I gained some valuable experience working as an electrician in New Zealand. Coming back to South Africa I was lucky enough to spend a few years working as an electrician in the agricultural sector, supporting our farmers in the Free state and Northern Cape from there I spend 10 years working for international companies like BHP Billiton and South 32 as a Instrumentation tech and industrial electrician in the mining sector. This gave me the opportunity to study for my advanced diploma in instrumentation and electrical engineering through one of Australia’s top colleges. Most recently I spent some time working for one of our agricultural giants as an industrial electrician for AGRICO. All this has prepared me to start Autoto and to be able to say with confidence that there is no problem that I cannot resolve. Not to mention my work is satisfaction guaranteed.
I believe in treating my customers’ homes and properties as my own.
